He started sailing at 7 years old, when he took the Optimist for the first time, and has been sailing since in Laser, Snipe, J24, J70 and handicap. He was IMS600 World Champion in 2005, and silver medal at the Panamerican Games Mar del Plata 1995 in the Snipe class. National champion and Southamerican vice champion onboard J24. In the Snipe class he obtained a third place in the 1993 southamerican a was National champion in 1995. He works as coach in the USA since 2006 and trains the Optimist US National Team since 2021.
